Biography

Ikebana is the revered traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement.

Using this ancient discipline as its foundation, Junko Miura has developed Jun Fusion, more evolved artistic form of flower arrangement.

Junko is a classically trained, second generation Ikebana Master. She also has an extensive background in art and fashion design.
In her work as an international designer, she has moved Ikebana into a direction that steps beyond the traditional flower arrangements into more artistic, inspiring, three dimensional sculptural creations….. toward the spirit of Jun Fusion.
Junko’s award winning creations based on her Jun Fusion method made her one of New York’s most sought after artists of flower arrangements.
Junko has the honor of offering her creations to:

The Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations, diplomatic ceremonies at the embassies, museums, galleries, high-end retail stores, and other public and private spaces. She also holds a teaching position at the New York Botanical Garden.
